The Beech Mountain History Museum is located at 405 Beech Mountain Parkway, next to Fred’s. The Museum is open from mid-June to mid-October, and also on holiday weekends. Hours are 1:00 to 4:00. No charge for admission.
The Museum has beautiful 2017 calendars with photographs of Beech in four seasons, available for a $5.00 donation. Also for sale at the museum are a pictorial Beech Mountain history book, Beech Mountain and the new full color Land of Oz, for $20.00.
The Historical Society is now accepting photo entries for the 2018 Beech Mountain Calendar contest. The calendar will feature photographs of Beech Mountain in all seasons. Send photos to firstname.lastname@example.org. All submittals must be 7 ½” x 10” in dimension, 300 dpi, in PDF format.
